KnowledgeSync
KnowledgeSync is a “Business Activity Monitoring” application that helps to maximize the power and capabilities of ClientLogix. KnowledgeSync’s purpose is to automatically monitor business information for critical, time-sensitive conditions of data across an organization and to respond to those conditions in a timely and intelligent manner.
The need to stay informed about critical information in your business is crucial to multiple departments within your organization. Your executives, clients, and staff in research, portfolio-management, operations and client service need to be kept in the loop when critical, time-sensitive information comes to light.
KnowledgeSync monitors ClientLogix and other software applications for critical, time-sensitive business “events.” KnowledgeSync also monitors select e-mail accounts for important incoming messages. Once an event is detected, KnowledgeSync sends out alert messages to users, clients, and business partners. Once an e-mail is identified, KnowledgeSync auto-responds to the sender of the message, and alerts the appropriate members of your staff. These alerts can be sent via e-mail, fax, pager, PDA, cellular phone, and web browser. KnowledgeSync also updates the underlying applications with the details of the event and updates the underlying client record with the content of the incoming mail message.
KnowledgeSync automatically generates and distributes Crystal Reports on a scheduled, “data-triggered”, or on-request basis. Reports can be distributed via e-mail, fax, FTP, and web browser.

Automatically schedule activities that contain a client’s record based on the details of their incoming e-mail message |
Report Distribution for Crystal Reports via e-mail, fax, FTP, and web browser
 |
Automatically generate and distribute Crystal Reports on a periodic basis (e.g., “every Monday morning at 9:00 AM, generate and distribute the research and trading reports”) |
Monitor Operating Environment Events
 |
Check for low disk space or memory errors (e.g., “if any disks have less than 200 MB of free space, send an alert”) |
 |
Check for tasks or programs that are (or are not) running (e.g., “if SQLServer is not running, send a message to the IT department”) |
 |
Check for files that are present or absent (e.g., if an order processing transaction file has not been received, notify the accounting department) |
