  Advent® Users Meeting to Talk Strategy for 2010

UNAPEN, Inc. to host Advent Users Group Midwest Regional Meeting this month

Wallingford, CT: October 5, 2009—UNAPEN, Inc. is pleased to announce that it will host the Advent Users Group Regional Meeting on October 28, 2009 in Chicago. At this year’s meeting, Advent® Software users will be exploring questions like:

How should my firm be evolving to meet new challenges in the market?
What can I do now to position my firm to grow in the future?
How will the changes in compliance affect my firm this year?
How do I reduce costs in my office and still provide excellence in client service?
How can I reach my goals using technology while staying within my budget?

UNAPEN will host the AUG members in downtown Chicago for a full day of discussions and presentations on topics like these. Among sessions such as Compliance best practices; Moving towards a paperless office; and Cutting costs without cutting quality; UNAPEN CEO, Joseph Walker, will be facilitating a discussion titled “Back Office + Client Service = Success”.

Walker believes that firms should be shifting their back office operations away from the traditional “gate keeper” role that has been limited to managing information flow. Today, those who invite their back offices to become value-added participants in the Client Service Experience are able to open up communication throughout the firm and to provide clients with more accurate and timely communications.

Walker says, “When you consider the cost and complexity of a modern day back office, it just makes sense to leverage that investment by converting the operational data into meaningful information that investment professionals can act on. That means a better basis for decisions and presentation of relevant materials that build client confidence and satisfaction.”
